Selim Zherka was born in the Bronx to an Albanian immigrant family; he credits his parents for fostering work ethic and sense of justice, both of which have played a prominent role in his career and humanitarian work.
Selim began his career in real estate at the age of 17. He has been an active contributor and volunteer to both soup kitchens and Toys for Tots and has served as a mentor and benefactor to many young individuals from underprivileged backgrounds.
